Prepare yourself

It helps to be aware of different risks and to prepare. So that you can survive the first 48 hours after a disaster, because help usually cannot arrive immediately.

Talk to those around you about what you can do to make sure everyone is safe. Do your neighbours, your parents or your children know what to do? Make agreements about this together. And put together an emergency kit, it's pretty easy. Being prepared gives a safe and secure feeling. For yourself and your loved ones.
